Owners
Laura and Tahoma Doyon grew up in North Seattle, Laura in Lake Forest Park and Tahoma in Shoreline. They became co-parents of their dog, Sir Prince Philip, in 2012, married in 2013, and welcomed their daughter, Corinne, in 2015. Obsessed with the Pacific Northwest, Tahoma and Laura can’t imagine living anywhere else. Becoming owners of The Wallace Falls Lodge and helping others to enjoy the gorgeous Cascade Foothills through vacations, retreats and weddings is a dream-come-true.
LAURA
Laura, a graduate from Gonzaga University, spent 10 years in the Airline industry and now shares her time between her independent consulting business and managing The Lodge. At The Lodge, Laura oversees day-to-day operations, event planning and customer service.
Laura’s greatest joy (aside from being Corinne’s mom!) is to host family and friends. Whether it is throwing an engagement party, bridal shower or baby shower, helping others celebrate life’s big events is one of the things Laura loves most. She is also a proud Airbnb Super Host for the couple’s Seattle rental properties. When not working, Laura is an avid reader and loves spending time with the inspiring women in her life: her mom, mother-in-law, sister, cousins, and girlfriends.
TAHOMA
With an exercise-science degree from Western Washington University, Tahoma has a passion for health and fitness. This passion led him to his career as a race director where, in addition to helping put on events for businesses and non-profits, Tahoma directs the Magnuson Series, a monthly 5, 10 and 15k race at Magnuson Park in Seattle.
When he isn’t directing races, he is either running himself, snowboarding, mountain biking or surfing. He is also a member of Club Northwest, a local running club. Tahoma enjoys taking advantage of the miles of beautiful trails that the Wallace Falls State Park has to offer and looks forward to hosting running events at The Lodge. At the Lodge Tahoma oversees heavy maintenance but prefers to think of himself as more of a “silent partner.”
CORINNE
Corinne, is currently enjoying preschool. She loves all things superhero, riding her bike, running “fast” and playing with Sir Prince Philip.
SIR PRINCE PHILIP
Sir Prince Philip is an Orange Pomeranian and is a competitive runner himself. He is the 2x champion of the Seattle Furry 5-k and is considered (at least by his owners) to be the world’s fastest Pomeranian. When he’s not training with Tahoma, Phil enjoys long naps and being held like a baby. He frequently complains about not being allowed at The Lodge so that it can stay allergen-free for its guests.
